Two thousand years ago the Eternal Son of God came into the world as a human: Jesus of Nazareth. He lived, died, and rose from the grave for his people. He ascended to Heaven, where he has been ruling over all things for the sake of his Church, sending forth his Spirit to advance his Kingdom, and interceding for his people at the throne of his Father. Ascension is forming to participate in Jesus’ everlasting life, and to carry the good news of his grace to our community and beyond.
